Rachael is a second year psychology undergraduate student aspiring to become a clinical psychologist. She is interested in deepening her understanding of the intersection between psychology and data research and has a growing interest in how data can be used to better understand mental health outcomes and address health inequalities, particularly within Black communities.
Through this internship at the School of Mental Health and Psychological Systems at King鈥檚 College London, Rachael hopes to develop practical skills in data analysis and research, while also gaining insight into how large-scale health data is used in real-world settings. She is especially excited to learn from experts in the field, build confidence working with complex data, and explore how data-driven approaches can support more equitable and person-centred mental health care. This opportunity will help shape Rachael’s academic journey and future career in psychology.聽聽
